SPT Turbo-shotblasting is a one-step surface preparation technique that strips, cleans, and etches the surface in a single application. It's a dust-free method of surface abrasion in which a 150-HP turbo-charged engine mechanically propels millions of particles of steel shot per second onto the surface at speeds exceeding 175 MPH. The shot and dust generated in the process are instantaneously recovered. The shot and dust then go through a separation process which recycles the shot for reuse. This makes Turbo-shotblasting fast, clean, efficient, and environmentally safe, meeting all EPA, state, and municipal waste management requirements.

SPT utilizes various types of scarifiers and its shotblasting equipment for removing roadway pavement markings and curing compounds.
